What I love most is that you really never know when inspiration will strike. Most often for me, it happens when I'm getting my wee ones down to bed at night. Maybe it's the calm and quite room or the soothing baby lullabies playing on the iPod.
In this case, that's not where my inspiration struck. This time, it came in the form of a shirt. Yes, a shirt.
As we were gathered one evening at my mother-in-laws house for dinner, I glanced at my sister-in-law, Brighid, who had just walked into the house wearing this amazing shirt. It was black with peachy-gold dots all over it. *BAM*
Brighid had asked me a few weeks prior to design her Gatsby-inspired engagement party invitations with her wedding colors in mind - gold, black, and purple. I was working on a few designs, but none of them really excited me enough to send to her for viewing. Once I saw the shirt, I knew I had something to work with once again!
I also surprised her with custom wrap around address labels:
Congratulations to Brighid and Adam!
