Today I celebrate my sixth wedding anniversary with my husband, Paul. I find it fitting to write this post today on If Only Lola Lee's new blog because it was my wedding that led me to this part of my life.
While searching for the perfect wedding invitation, I kept turning up empty handed. I made the decision to make my own and began the search for paper suppliers and printers to make my vision a reality.
After months of stressful days and sleepless nights, I had my finalized the design and I sent it off to be printed. I was thrilled to get the invitations back and begin the assembly process. They were just as I wanted them to be - classic, elegant and timeless.
As the wedding date neared, I also decided to make the escort cards, table numbers and programs. It seemed natural to do all the stationery myself and found a new creative outlet along the way.
Since 2007, I have designed and created invitation for friends and family. Just this year, I decided to expand my client base by opening up an Etsy shop in February 2013.
So, here I am today, starting a new adventure, a new website and continuing to build up my Etsy shop. Although I know there is still much more for me to do, I eagerly await what will come to me through If Only Lola Lee. Join me as I post new projects, inspiration, and ideas on this blog!
